Hi

I have just recently purchased a SE Satio however am having issues with predictive text. ie when I want to enter a single letter be it A or B or C etc etc when selecting the first letter on the correct button and then trying to scroll through to the next letter say for instance J then pressing the *+ button as I would normally do on another SE phone but K does not come up and it takes me into the predictive select word pop up but only has J as a saved letter not J K L.
Does this mean I am going to have to assign each letter to the corresponding button and save it as a word?
Also I had that issue with the DEF number 3 buttom and only D was coming up so I saved E as a word which solved the problem but now when typing DEF E comes up as the first letter and shows twice, and I cannot get into the my words section to delete the newly added E.

I hope that makes sense.
If anyone has any info on how to rectify this please get back to me.

Thank you in advance.

Predictive text in satio its the biggest crap i´ve seen in the latest 5years! Yes you have to associate 1 single letter to a word ... at least i did that Another big issue you will find is that when you choose a word and then put a " . , ? ! " ...etc the word you had choosen turn back to the first one again... you have add a space after the word and only then a pontuation... ridiculous

Hi Miguel

Thank you for the reply, Have noticed the second part of your reply too about the , after a word and it over writing the word you had typed.
I hope Sony will create a patch to fix these problems.

Are there any other problems you might be able to point out that you have been able to find solutions too?

Hi!! My problems with satio are still waiting to be fixed in the next firmwares:

First is this predictive text thing

Second its the music player (no equalizer and on top of that there is no search option, shortcuts to the first letters or something that make us go quickly to a song: If you have 3000songs and you want to go to one that starts with a Z ... Imagine how much time you will spend scrolling all the list down). The only solution its to use a music player called LCG Jukebox but its not the same thing and there is no other decent music player for s60.)

And 3rd is the battery (badly last 1day with normal use)

I love satio but these 3 issues made me use it only as a 2nd phone until they fix it. (If they dont... bye bye satio)

ahh and i forgot to mention... If for some reason you cant connect to wifi, then turn off the bluetooth. I had this bug on satio in the first firmware but now things seems to be alright. So update your phone if it hasnt been until now

Thanks Miguel

Have read through other threads and seen the lists of faults.
Wonder how long it will be before all of these will be sorted?

I hope I will not have to start using my phone as a second to my C902.

All the best

SE may never give us big updates like this but at least they must fix those problems
