I'd look between the HTC HD2 AND x10. The HTC HD2's build quality is awesome probably the best built handset out there at the moment. Only bad things is as it's new theres a few bugs with it but updates and ROM flashes are up and more coming on the HTC website. Nothing major just improvement updates for the little things being found with it.

X10 is all talk at the moment will have to see what its like on release.

I'd hold back if I were you personally.

Satio. Nice hardware package, Great camera, browsing pretty good, great screen. Hopefully more software updates to follow.

At the moment, and considering all the bugs and support issues with SE, well after being an SE fan for some years, but now having used HTC for the last 8 months, NO CONTEST, go with HTC brother, they respond to issues more quickly, the build quality, in my experiance is so much better, they may be the newer kid on the block, but they (HTC) seem to be serious about the game, un-like SE who are, in my humble opinion, and i do stress MY opinion, are now trying to put in/on bells and whistles, indeed anything to catch the all singing and dancing gang, the marketing is awsome, the product no longer is. Your choice.

If you want a good camera, go for satio. If you'll use your phone for business, htc

Due to work I got both phones and the phone I carry every day in my pocket is the Satio.
HD2, good hardware with a beta software...

If I need to choose, Satio is obiusly the answer...
Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.

I second that. Being a SE user for years I was loyal and went for the Satio. Biggest mistake ever.
Txting issues, battery issues, video issues, GPS issues, calling issues.....the list is long. If you get the HTC and you don't like it I'll gladly swap.
18 months locked in with orange with a crap phone. I think I'll get my C902 back out, it performs better than the satio.

Well, the Satio being Symbian and the HD2 being Windows Mobile, I'd say that Windows Mobile is the lesser of two evils
