I discovered that i can use the C905 Xenon light as a torch by the camera's video mode then press down to switch on the light. My boy-friend who has W995 is wondering if there is a similar way of using the video LED light on his phone as a torch as well or able to get a java application that does this like on i had on my K800?

W995 has a dedicated torch app so that you don't have turn on the video or anything else except the utility itself. It's bright and handy too and been using it on a regular basis

True. Just go to main menu-organizer, it should be in the list. I have a shortcut in the activity menu so it is easier to reach.

Heyy, you can manually add a shortcut for Flashlight on your C905(for example)
do this:
1) open menu.ml , using text redactor (notepad++)
2) find word - organizer
after
insert next string after tags and |

@Dark Night
Since you have to manually open the camera lens anyway (which auto launches the camera mode), it doesn't make much sense for the C905 to have a torch app.
it would probably be quicker to just open the lens, and push one button to get the lamp on, than it would be to hack the menu.ml, and fiddle around with shortcuts to launch this torch app.
thanks anyway though!  |
