Really?? I know this is an opinion of what color looks better but C901 picture is on the left and C905 picture is on the right, look at the sky, IMO it's a much nicer shade of blue 
(compare c901 pic-thread against c905 pic-thread........big difference in numbers of quality-shots).
I don't agree with that... as you have said before who is behind camera is much more important, all pics taken are by different people in different lighting, I have noticed this when I look at pictures from any camera/camera-phone that some look terrible and others look fantastic quality.
c901 still struggling with quite unnatural colours (not all time, but sometimes).
I agree C901 Default color is quite unsaturated, but as you know this can be changed with the touch of a button.
my vote goes to C905
It's hard to say whos camera is better, I would pic C901 (im not saying that because I own it) ,but there are only three pictures and one video, to demonstrate that one camera was better than the other it would need a lot more pictures, taken in different lighting conditions showing the strengths and weaknesses of both cameras.

Did you have C905 plank? I Might guess you're not.
C905 has very vary bad color IMO. Most red + unimpressive noise handling. I know that because I HAVE C905 too.

take a look at any of the C905 threads, the pictures and color are amazing.

If you wanna post some random bad pictures of C901, go on. But just believe me it wasn't random one. I take those picture in order to make a comparison with C901 (C905 was set to 3MP before to equal C901 resolution). I've told here before and I said it again once more time, I have both phone. So I'm sure that I have an idea what I talking about. Got it?
FYI, I've seen C905 threads and i think it was same, i feel unexcited.
for first step I do show you C905.
And this is for C901 (this picture looks so blurry because i cant stand it still)

I don't have any of them so from a neutral point of view I would say the C905 photo thread has evoked my emotions more than C901 but that could be due to a multitude of factors which would not make it conclusive. That being said, I prefer C905 camera quality but if I had to choose a cam phone to replace my W995 I'd go for C901 as I would like some peace of mind since absolutely 100% of those I know who has the C905 have complained about the same reliability issues

actually C905 cannot be compared to C901.. since it is in different league, 8Megapixels.. it is 3Megapixels difference there..
did anyone ever compared VGA resolution picture from C901 to VGA K320i for example?
yes i know some would say C901 colors is better, some would say C905 color is more better, but hey.. maybe both of them are the best in their own league..
the best Hyundai cannot be compared to the best Lamborghini.. 
after all, both are  Sony Ericsson

C905: 8.1mpix + flash, GPS, WLAN, bigger screen
C901: 5mpix + flash, no GPS, no WLAN, smaller screen
C901 is cheaper, but if you need GPS or WLAN, which are somethimes useful, buy C905.
I had it and I can say it's the best SE phone I have ever had.
It is more exprensive than C901, but if money isn't a problem, go for C905

Why don't you post a comparison, C901 vs C905 and make it unbiased? There is no point having a discussion about photo quality of one camera over the other if there are no pictures, to post one picture and say its bad quality does not prove anything... that's why i bumped topic because I have picture comparison instead of typical discussion, will you do a comparison between them?

C901 has got an Xenon flash just like the C905 and Google Maps can be used as a GPS.
There are only 4 major differences.

There is a big diference between GPS and google maps. I had C905 with Google maps on it and I know what am I talking about.
GPS application is much better than Google maps.
Don't think I'm sayin' C901 is bad phone, it's excellent, but I think that C905 is better

I'm a Google Maps person and it is more comprehensive than SE's built-in GPS app where I'm from so I guess to each, his own. I can definitely live without GPS and Wifi thanks to my unlimited data plan but onboard Wifi is still a good bonus
