Good grief, really? It looks pretty dated to me - the screen seems strangely small, surrounded by that thick black border.
Where's the SE design here? It looks like a generic crossover, somewhere between Nokia and HTC, or even Samsung. I wouldn't be surprised if SE actually had little to do with this, and just stuck their badge on it.

I was going to say the screen is small too. Much more room for improvement there. It seems to me Sony Ericsson are trying to play catch up with these devices and its not really working is it?

If the screen is 2.4 inch, it would be the "standard" used in the Blackberry phones as well as Nokias (E72 : 320 x 240 pixels, 2.36 inches)
Don't like the looks though...

Thay can add 2.6 inch screen in that device and decrease the free space under the keyboard with ~ 6-7mm, the space between the keyboard and the screen with ~ 3mm and the free space over the screen ~ 3mm too.
However, it's Green heart phone which shows the point that SE are trying to make high-end nature-friendly phones, which is commendable! I wish X10 was Green heart.
Good job,  ! Just make this phone a little bit more eye-catching and remove the useless free spaces.

The keyboard is similar to P990's... Nice!!!
Also, nice to see 3.5mm jack, miniUSB and touchscreen on this E63 competitor... 
Hope it comes in Black 2...

Haha, nice. E63 is almost two years old by the time this comes out. More off a competitor to that Nokia Mystic thing.
Dunno how your P990 is, but mine has keys that are pretty different

Well maybe it's just me but the qwerty keys does feel similar even though they look much different than P990's...

Well my P990 is very different than your P990, my P990 is dead, dead screen, dead camera, dead card slot, etc., etc., etc... 
Well E63 is still selling very well and having another extra option while buying a new phone is good anyways...
