Any relevant reply/ies to problems with "freezing" displays, problems with streaming YouTube videos (etc)? Software R7AA071 din't help at all... Longer batterytime wasn't noticed either? Maybe because "jumpy" signal strengt? As I rememebered it - the bars were booth higher and more stable?

Anyone that knows what to do?

Tnx!

Problems now being fixed!

The device needs to be taken care by one "level point 1 serviceman".

In short words it's the display - that needs to be replaced (changed to a new one) -

It seems thats this (and replacing 2 further items), will make it....??

Thus no firmware (for this topic), at least not tonite:$...

Cheers!

It's good that it's fixed. But I didn't really understand the questions. Never mind, we have another happy customer.

Will briefly try to explain then:
1) Display "freezing" - for example if you want to take a picture: you coldn't use your finger to open display to take a photo (access the camera). The whole "display suddenly was locked" in the meaning that you couldn't open it".

However, it wasn't black or showed any other strange things. If you instead tried to open the camera (or other things) by the keyset, still nothing happend.

The ACTIVE parts you have on the display simply had been locked/"froozen".

So you had to switch off/turn on the phone very often.

Furthermore the customers couldn't give us any clues to why or when this happend.

The releasing of the new firmware (R7AA071), FIRST seemed to fix the problem, but after a while some devices still had exactly same problems.

When the customers came back. Also question "of the promised better batt" became a "little to much" and many customers also said that the f/w before was "more stable and not so jumpy WHEN LOOKING AT THE BARS"!

The last point (re YouTube - is easy to fix - but tricky as to the reason, so cannot say anything now, also guess it's a local problem here in Sweden.

Hope this gave more info to ustand the problems better?

This happened to me in Japan, when temperatures were very low.
Low temperatures affected the harware I think. Back in the UK no such problems. Never frozen once.
Maybe it's the same problem, as you're in icy Sweden?
