Coldest temperature phones can handle? |

Does anyone know this? With the current weather being so cold whats the safest temperature a phone can operate in? So far my c902 seems ok during this freezing weather but whenever i bring it back indoors its full of condensation which sometimes i worry may get inside. Though its a different story if your name is mriley and you actually drop it in the snow

They may vary for each brand. If you're worried about it get a C702

Well yes keep trying the competitions & try getting a Star Letter in What Mobile like I did winning the w595 Now they offer a Samsung Tocco Lite if you get Star Letter. Your w580i is at rest he died from hypathermia(not sure how that is spelt )

@Bonovox hypothermia not hypathermia.. Anyways, the phone won't work on temperatures below freezing.. I guess..

In the booklets of each phones we can see the temperature they can support.

K800: 9 hours at -16°C holded in the hand (glove) and often loosely hanging
- SIM card became unactive (had to be take out and slightly heated)
- camera button didn't worked well
- battery didn't survived whole day (from 100% to 0% in 10 hours) but the phone was used as the camera (~190 shots)

@Raiderski nice discovery.. Just one question, is it forbidden to use mobile phones while it's snowing or there's a blizzard?!
@tranced agree and agree mate
