I was going to post in the "What you all doing/listening to now thread" to say that I was just watching the final David Tennant Doctor Who episode but then decided that perhaps Doctor Who needs its own topic

Who watched this? I thought the first half shown on Christmas day was a bit naff, in fact you could say it was a bit of a waste of time (and space!) but the second half just shown was excellent, a very well written story and I was so glad they brought in all the characters that this doctor worked with... especially Rose who was my favourite

I'm also wondering who watches this in other countries?

Sorry but this is the first time I hear this. Asked my gf and she said she doesn't know a thing about it.

@Bonovox, Tom Baker was my fav before the modern series and much like the original Star Trek, the pre 2000's Doctor Who was all wobbly scenery and crummy costumes, though they still got their fan base

But now that we have technology that provides alot more realism it really does make Doctor Who so much more enjoyable, and also the writers have alot more humour too!

@tranced, if you're into sci-fi/time travel etc then you don't know what you've missed!... allow me to start your education... click here, and here, and here etc etc

Peter Davidson was probably another good one. I know the old Doctor Who was really bad with the effects but its classic nostalgia I also love Star Trek and the new one is great got it on Blue Ray
