HELP WITH patching K850i.- Radio not working properly... |

recently i patched my k850 with some patches
that included ' radio without handset patch '... all seemed well..
until recently i noticed that my radio plays only on the right channel of my HP.
the left side is very low on volume, can barely hear...
its fine working with the media player... (both sides are equal)
I dont know what happened..?
Somebody please help me on this....  its a request..
i tried removing radio patch but no effect...
i dont want to reflsh my phone, cos its been 2 to 3 times i have been doing it and all is well arranged with me now.
PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME HOW TO GET BOTH THE SPEAKERS WORKING ON THE RADIO...

i did try...
with HP and with the sony speakers also...
the problem s only with radio, the media is working fine...

uninstall the patch and install it again and see if it helps |

in my hesitation i did that also, uninstalled radio patch,
still no effect...

Maybe try to upload the original phone_app.cxc file. Otherwise clean your fastport connector.

@tranced, i have patched the phone using a2uploader, so is there a way to get the original phone_app.cxc
i have got a few files in the a2uploader folder...
does these files contain my original phone_app.cxc
if then how to get it..?
does renaming one of these to "phone_app.cxc" and uploading will help..?
i need ur help..

Did you read out the phone_app.cxc file before starting patching? If so, then it should be in the ph_out folder.

Thanks my friend for that instant support.
Just now i flashed it, now its working fine, the radio's is working through both HP's, speakers.
But i lost all my customization on the phone... no problm..
Still i don't get what caused this.. may be if we can find it out, it may be helpful to others also...
i think its something related to some of the patches... actually i had put these,
# 4th Tab patch
# advanced brightness settings
# Radio_without_handsets_K850i_R1FA035
# Remove equalizer limitation K850i R1FA035
# Remove_voicerecoreder_beep_K850i_R1FA035
# Super Flightmode K850i R1FA035
i don't know which one is prob..
I AM GOING TO TRY IT, I'll TRY WITH ONE BY ONE..
will post the result afterwards..

I haven't tried the radio without headset patch with my c510. I'll see if that makes it act like that.
Remember to backup the phone_app.cxc file before patching.

Bluechip, as mentioned earlier in other thread, i am using this patch without any problem though i am using bluetooth stereo headset ds980, so i cannot confirm right now. I will check it with my headphones and report.

@ceaser2008,
i mentioned earlier that i removed the 'radio without handset' patch and it still the prob remained..
so its not related to this patch maybe...
i had also a patch for unlimited EQ control, maybe this is causing the prob,,
anyway im gonna try each patch one by one...

Yes i got the problem @ the '4th tab patch' - this was the first patch i applied, after which the
radio's one side audio gone...!!!.
i tried restoring the original phone_app file, but no use...
now i am flashing RIFA035 again with 'FS' only, lets wait and see..

YES thats it..
the 4th tab acess patch... THIS WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM...
after i flashed again with 'FS' now the audio is OK..
So guys if you have any problem like this pls post you comments...
