C903 Battery Wont Charge and Phone Wont Find SIM |

I don't know if this is in the right section but: I have had my SE C903 for a while now, I haven't had any problems up to now. I forgot to charge it before I went out, and when I got home it had died. The thing wouldn't charge, it came up with a message "Battery cannot be charged. You must use a Sony Ericsson battery." I don't understand this as it is the original battery which came with the phone. When I turn it on, it just comes up with another message "Insert correct SIM card". I am using the SIM which came with the mobile phone, so I don't get that either. My laptop recognizes the phone to be used as a mass storage device, but SEUS will not update the firmware. Any ideas what's wrong with it?

Its a software fault mate. I had the same happen to me with a c510. If its new return it get it replaced. Its happened on quite alot of Sony Ericsson phones. Someone said its a battery fault. If its less than 28 days old get it replaced if not try reflashing the software via SEUS failing that and you can't do either then get it repaired. I had happen on a sim free c510 from Carphonewarehouse. Hope i helped
