I used the "Search" area, but because I´m a n00bie, I didn't find anything helpful. So I hope somebody cares to answer my question.

My laptop has Win 2000 + IR. I have a T68I. So I want to send images from my PC to my phone.

I put the transfer rate on my laptop to 9600kbs in the Device manager for IR, but didn't help. Software is ImageEditor1.2.0.7 and the problem:

It says, that no T68 is detected. But my phone´s IR is activated and it is right next to the laptops IR!?

Please, I am going crazy! Help wanted!

Thanks!

I had a T68i, and did transfer images from the laptop to the phone.
It worked just fine...but I did have problem with the synch!

Well, ´when you transfer images to your phone, you just activate the IR on the Phone and place it next to your laptop.

Your computer should now say that it has found another device.
Then you just right-clicks your images and choose "send to device" or something like that. Thats all!

If your computer not is detecting your phone, you maybe should have a look in your settings for your IR-device. I think that there is an options somewhere, where you can check that the IR shall be activated...
If you can't find this, I think you should check for new drivers for your IR (for win 2000). Some other people had problems in win 2000, but with the new driver the problems were solved.

I hope this was helpful...

Best regards, Patrik

Hey guys,

The setting is in the BIOS. You just have to check it out...
Peace out!

Yes, thank you for refreshing my memory!

I was going to write that this was checked in the BIOS, but I wasn't 100% sure...Thanx!

Well, did you manage to make the phone and IR work?
