W995 confusing |

Hi everybody!
Today I saw two silver walkman phone w995 and I'd noticed a strange detail between them.
One w995 has the text "sony ericsson" (above the 2.6 inch screen) and "8.1 megapixel" (near the camera on the battery cover) printed, so the text slightly fade out.
Meanwhile, the other w995 has the text engraved, so they can't be fade out.
Why there is the different between 2 phone? I suppose they're both exactly the same . I'm a bit confused, would somebody mind explain it to me, I really appreciate it.

I can't confirm though this does fortify my suspicion that there are such variants to SE's products. My texts are embossed on the brushed metal so the writings have not faded a tone at all eventhough they protrude out slightly but others are complaining about them peeling off after weeks or so. Even the HPM-77 has variants not only in terms of colour (some silver, some bronze-ish etc) but also audio property (some have better bass while others have more clarity)

Hi, I have a Black W995, the text "Sony Ericsson" over the 2.6 inches screen is printed, also the 8.1 Megapixels text is printed... However, Sony Ericsson in the back cover seems to be engraved...

mine are on the front panel the Sony Ericsson text is printed and  logo is craved, on the back panel the 8.1 megapixel and W995 text are printed whereas the Sony Ericsson and logo are craved

I never had that problem when i used to have the w995 though i did have that problem with the c510

The black w995 and the red one have the text printed. The silver w995 has the text engraved. The problem is I saw two silver w995 which one's text is printed and the other's text is engraved. I think the "engraved one" is an upgrade from sony ericsson because the printed text fade out easily. |
