Does anybody know if there is a way to get N97 Widgets running on the Satio?
I guess some applications of the N97 needs to be ported to the Satio before the widgets can be installed.
Or else does someone know about if the homescreen of the Samsung i8910 can pe ported?
I think the default SE standby screen is very pretty and slick, but it not very usefull.
The default s5 standbye screens are a bit too simple for me.
BTW: I had the standbye bug, but got it working again by selecting the factory settings in the Application settings menu. But some settings have to be applied again, (although by no means all). |

There's a bug in the current firmware that doesn't allow you to use another standby theme. Sorry.
I myself find the dafult screen pretty useful...

the apps themselves "should" run ok as the os's are the same .... whether
the widgets can "force" their way around SE's crappy home screens is another
matter all together.
I reject your reality and substitute my own. |

This is a bit off topic but i found out that photos on multimedia open much much more faster if i use SE standby home screen. This must be related with homescreen kepping the photos open all the time... But i dont know if this decreases battery life. |
