guys, how do we cancel a text message on the new A200 platform? I'm new to the A200 platform interface and whenever I send a text message on my c510, I notice there is no more "sending message icon/graphics" whenever I send one compared to my old w800i but instead it was replaced by a small icon on the top area of the screen that your sending in the message, there is even no "message sent" confirmation anymore.

So my question is that, how do we cancel the text message? Is hitting "c" cancels the message? Looks like it doesn't I prefer the old way of sending messages (you can see the sending message graphics and even hit "c" to cancel it) than on this new platform. Any ideas? thanks!

I don't think there's a way to cancel it. And when the icon disappears, it means that the message has been sent successfully.

Until the message is sent you find it in "outbox". If its any problem sending it you will find it there.

yes, Fredrix is right, you will know whether your message was sent or no by checking its outbox.

yup. I saw that one on the "sent message" folder, it does include the status of the text messages whether it was sent successfully or not... but I still miss the old format.. I wonder how come they change those from A100. I also miss the sleep clock mode whenever your phone is on idle.. I know it consumes battery but still very handy instead of pressing the volume bar to view the clock.. anyways, its sad that you cant cancel anymore text messages.

Yeah unless you are extremely fast and can go to the outbox before the message is sent there is no way to unsend. Things go by really fast.

I tried that once by taking the battery out REALLY quick but it didn't help. Instead the recipient received two messages, because the first one was sent although I pulled the battery before the sign from status bar disappeared, and the second was sent as soon as I turned the phone on. It just started resending the message...

So, think twice before you send messages.
