hi! I wanna know if some1 have used the t100 for some time( not just tried it) cuz i plan on buying one.The issue i'm interested in is about SPEED (as in all the SE phones): sms sand wap speed (goin' thru menus) - is it normal or slow as a turtle as usual?

a friend of mine has got it imported, has shown me some pics and has told me that the most impressive thing about this cutie is the menus' speed. he says it's as fast as the nokias. truly wants to clear away the 33x0 nokias.

the speed is ok..not as fast as Nokia's but certainly faster than T68m/T68i/T300
Used it for a couple of month as my tertiary phone
Only complain is the keys...which lays flat and its hard to press. Despite the menu speed being faster than most colour screen SE phones, it still takes me longer to sms from my T100 due to the keypad, i have to use my nail to poke for every character i need to key in,a complete nightmare!
I would recommend a T200 for non-colour SE mobile |

My father and uncle has one and my uncle's menu is faster (it has r2c and my father has r2b). I think it will get faster. I like the red-white one... |

But be aware that t100 does not have GPRS, so browsing wap will be a bit slower and more expensive

i know, i know and i don't need it as the gready bastards operators here charge 10cents per minute on wap and a lot more on GPRS , so no more wap for me until a flat rate appears somehow:)

You are right. Here, t-mobile charges app. euro 5 per month flat fee for gprs wap and pop3 mail without regard to the amount of data, so i use it. For normal web we have to pay 80 cents per 1mbyte

buying a t100 i know what i can get outof ofit and for a lowend phone it's worth is 70$ (that's what i pay). But i gotta be careful about the software , if u read the previous posts , do u think the diff'rence in speed is noticeable?

Hscsd speed is actually higher than gprs, in practise. But gprs is much cheaper!

Maybe so, but the fact that u have to pay an subscription fee for 12$/month for it, no thanks:)as i said, if they r not interested the prices will stay high:(We should make a thread about operators where we can share legislation and prices, stuff like that!:)
