MyPhoneExplorer; Settings stored. |

So I "accidently my whole HDD" and I am looking to recover my saved SMS. Unfortunately I have not exported my current SMS archive. What I am wondering about is where MyPhoneExplorer stores SMS and contacts by default and what kind of extension do they have and do they contain a standard name? I.e. standard-sms-archive-name.myphoneexplorer-extension
All help is appreciated, as I have a lot of SMS's I'd like to recover. |

Try to look for .mpb files. Those are the backups of MPE.

All files are stored in C:\\Documents and Settings\\"your account"\\Application Data\\MyPhoneExplorer |

So are the files stored in that directory .mpb files no matter the content? I can't really see directory listings from my Data Recovery Software. I'm using Recuva.
Thanks for answers so far. |
