Hey guys,
Any of you remember me?  Gosh, it's been so long since I've signed in, I've had 8 PM's waiting for me D:
Anyhow, I need some help. I have my old K800i which needs flashing and unlocking. I have no idea which firmware it's on. A few years ago I installed a load of VKP patches, the ones I remember installing are the Unlocking and Walkman patches, others I can't remember. I'd just like a few things clarifying:
1) Is it safe for me to reflash the phone without undoing the VKP oatches? Otherwise, I'm screwed because I did quite a few which I can't remember off :/
2) Is there a proper unlock? I can do the VKP patch again, but if there's a better solution, please let me know
3) What software do I need? I remember using XS++ for flashing and TopSony for my firmware downloads, is it still the same?

I remember you from somewhere else
If you are planning to flash your mobile, you will lose the patches because they are on the MAIN. The free unlocking process is still the same: the patch.
Aerix just works with A2 phones and it is faster and easier than patching. Flashing the phone is the same: xs++, MAIN, FS and custom!

Haha! Glad you noticed 
So I use Aerix to unlock then? Or what I did before?
EDIT: Okay, I'm guessing R8BF003 is the latest firmware for the K800i. Now, where would I find a VKP patch?

Aerix won't work with your phone. It works with A2 phones and yours is an A1 phone.
You can find patches in this forum. Just 
Configuration error comes up if you didn't finalize the phone. It means that you didn't upload a custom to it.
