The P800 has been available in Singapore for at least a few weeks. It does not contain traditional Chinese support (P800c).

There has been unofficial sets floating around for the last few weeks, but I believe I'm one of the first few who got the official sets pre-order from Sony. The telcos have yet to launch the phone.

P800c is the traditional Chinese version for HK and Taiwan. P802 is the simplified Chinese version for China. There are NO chinese versions, 2 or c, available now. Last heard those and the software patch will only be released in March, if at all. Snippet: they are also working on a T9 patch, which may be released in March.

Did your official set from Singapore also include the SE Warranty Card as mine did? Is warranty service only available in Singapore for these units?

The warranty is local. It lists all the service centres in Singapore on the card itself. Under the distributor's stamp I got Sony's chop. I believe this may be quite crucial for support. I had an extremely bad experience with Sony. I bought the F505V (digicam) and forgot to send the warranty. I lost the receipt too. When I brought it for repair, they asked me for the receipt. Since I lost it, and I had forgotten to send in the warranty card (even though I could produce the whole warranty card, both the send and keep portions complete with dealer's stamp), they still made me pay. Sony may be great in technology, but when it comes to customer service, they are totally F**Ked up. I hope for you Sony Ericsson's not so sticky.
