I have just realised you cant view pictures fullscreen on the sation unless you select the 9pm option instead of 12

I am having trouble viewing my recorded videos in fullscreen mode, can anyone help ?

The 9MP mode simply takes pictures in a wide aspect ratio, which enable sthem to take up more screen real estate. Videos and 12MP pictures are taken in the usual 4:3, which inevitably leaves black borders on the side (unless you're watching a widescreen video).

You had probably taken them in the widescreen WQVGA mode (16:9), rather than the maximum VGA (which is 4:3). Try and see.
