My friend wants a Nokia 5530 and it's £120 with a £20 topup on O2 but £110 with a £10 topup on Vodafone.
If he bought it on Vodafone would it be debranded and unlocked?

Yes they are except 3UK on some models and some Vodafone models

So if he buys a Vodafone Nokia 5530 then it might not be unlocked and debranded? I think he's buying it off their website. |

It depends if that phone is actually in the Vodafone range in Vodafone stores. If not then Carphone model will be unlocked. The Vodafone white c510 is sold in Carphone and is Vodafone branded but most phones are unlocked

The one my mate bought was actually a sim free unit, no branding or anything. |
