from hardware perspective, is c901 capable of recording video in 30fps vga resolution?

i see that Yari is capable to record video in VGA with 30-50 fps. so i think C901 should have potential too..

I've try to make VGA rec, but viewfinder become black. also try in CIF res (352x288), viewfinder works well, but still failed to do recording. still don't have enough time to check what's wrong.

but imo, C901 recording capabilities with 800~900 Kbps bitrate is good enough

i'm praying u will have enough time to check that one jigonx...so that i can record decent video (at least by SE standard)

has this driver got a manual shutter option from 1/6400 to 1/1 ?
plus i dont understand the need for a manual saturation in a cam driver, isnt there an optimum saturation for all pics? the one that is closest to natural?

i wonder whats the longest exposure you get get on a modded cam driver?

i will have to experiment with the camera and compare with my Canon G10

EDIT : will the next driver have a specific macro focusing option? this sounds pretty unique and exciting for me

Could there be an option for ISO50? We know the phone supports it.

My thoughts exactly , this with long shutter speed would make very nice quality

I have another question. Is it possible to use manual focus and change EV? When I try to turn the manual settings off the image goes out of focus (back to infinite).

I also have to say this is an amazing driver that finally provides much needed manual setup for C901's already great camera. I like the way manual settings are sorted throughout an existing menu. Adding manual setup for exposure and perhaps ISO setting (all the way down to 50 ) even without the use of flash would be ALL a man can ask for.

Great work, keep it up!

and a specific manual focus for macro only allowing great precise focus ?
has anyone tested the manual sharpness? ive never tryed this on a cam driver before so i wonder what full sharpness would do

@volume

could you post some pics here showing manual settings ?

Increased saturation, manual focus, XenonISO 100:

Manual focus only, no flash:
