Iam using k750i for a long time without a problem. Today its behavioring very Strange. Lastly When i recharging the mobile i notice some warning on the screen "alien charging" instead of Optimizing Charge.. Then i switch off the mobile thought firmware fault. After switching on the mobile, its getting restarted frequently (restarts at the time of searching network). So i made a flash with XS++, Setool three four times but no use. But the mobile working fine without SIM and also can do service test. When inserting the SIM it continue restarting.

Can u people help me please..Thanks in advance..

Sounds like a battery problem. The restarting when you put a sim card in will be drawing more power and so could be why it restarts the handset, also the alien battery problem I think happened with a few batches of batteries a while ago.

There are always cheap batteries you could try if you dont have a spare.

If you need a link.

Its a fault on the boot system side of the firmware. Sometimes a full reinstall works and sometimes it doesnt. You could also get the circuit board checked for damage from wear. Could be another possible cause.

It will be boot system fault in the EPROM on the phone or the main board is damaged. Nothing else. You need to take or send it into a Sony Ericsson reoair center. A full reinstall is where your phone is complely wiped and then all software is reinstalled onto your phone. You could also try Wotanserver. They used to support EPROM flashing. Dont know if they still do now though.

EDIT:

Just read your 1st post again. It could also be a fault on the sim card reader but try flashing the EPROM first as it might sort the problem out.
