Hi I just bought an W995 and have been a proud owner of a W810i.

Now its an amazing phone no doubt BUT It seems the old problem with gaps between songs still remains. Is there anyway I can eliminate that? I have an Ipod and when I play the same track listings it goes straight onto the next song with no gaps. Maybe a software problem? or is it due to the read speed of m2 cards?

Hope you can help!

Hi chunkybeats: I tested in mine, i think that behavior is by design. For me, its a software issue, because the phone is quite fast even at multitasking...

Sadly, i dont know if it can be changed, although i think most probably not...

I haven't noticed anything like that on my C901, no reason it should be like that on W995.

Some song have a pause that lasts for a few moments before they start playing and/or after they end. Try them on your computer to see if that's the case.

Thanks guys, sorry I made a mistake posting this, Ok my w995 does do this gap, my w810i did the same.
Now I have albums which rely on the next track to immediately play, the gap I get is 2 seconds. Now I have played this through Windows Media Player and it runs smoothly. I play it through Itunes, smoothly no gaps too. I think it is a software problem and they are mp3 / m4a files. So would it be software update needed?

Maybe if you defrag the card the problem could be solved.

Use Winamp click right button View File Info... then Auto-Tag.

Ok I used Auto tag on Winamp but it still doesnt eliminate the gap, it cuts it down to a 1 second gap. Any ideas why it isnt working?
