Transfer SMS from Samsung Pixon to a Sony Ericsson Jalou? (was: An oldie with a noobie question! :D) |

Hey all
Not around much these days. But I'm back with a noobish question.
Anyway, my girlfriend just got a Jalou. She has come from a Samsung Pixon where she had around 200 messages saved in "my folders" on the phone.
Now I'm well out of touch with my s these days (iPhone convert you see ) and she desperately wants to keep these messages. However as far as I can see there is nowhere to save messages as such, other than the "saved messages" folder, which is ofcourse the sim card and that wont hold 200+ messages!
So can anyone help with this issue? Is there anywhere I can put these messages (she doesn't want them in the inbox either! )
Thanks, hope everyone is well.

Is it so hard to save messages to sim transfer save on Jalou and repeat the process? I mean if not then that's pretty...lazy. |

Can she just Bluetooth them or perhaps forward them to the new phone via text. May cost but just a thought
Phone?? What phone?? |

Is it so hard to read the original post? Where it clearly says 200 messages will NOT fit on a sim card? If not then that's pretty... lazy

@Bonovox
Yeah she is willing to send them over, but would prefer to have them in a seperate folder, NOT just in the inbox.
I take from the small amount of replies that it is not possible? Can the phone not be hacked and another folder created?
Thanks

Of course it can, but its pretty tedious.you have to mark each message and mark it to fun/any other category. The category option is the options tab when you open a message. You can also view your messages in category mode where the inbox and the other category would be shown. |

Wow, that's a high maintenance girlfriend...
Anyway, can't you just put as many messages on the Sim as possible, transfer them to the other phone then repeat with the other messages?
If sending them over, can't you just do that, then once there in the inbox move them to another folder?
