Just noticed the Sony ericsson Jalou Dolce and Gabbana at the  shop for £399.99 is that not a bit overpriced?

Didn't the same thing happen with the D&G Motorola V3?
Here in NZ the standard model was $400ish while the D&G model was $999.
The high price is probably for the fashion shops in Paris, Rome, Los Angeles where people buy D&G stuff but pricing needs to be consistent everywhere so even the discount stores get the high price too.

I was actually planning to get this D&G Jalou as a christmas present for my girlfriend but looks like this won't be happening now considering its over inflated price

Geez! Guys! It's a fashion product covered with gold leaf + it has the D&G logo on it. No wonder it's expensive. Not more than normal imo. (not that I think you aren't crazy if you buy it  )
