you can convert them using different methods, a new, quick and easy converter i heard about the other day is this website here : http://www.youconvertit.com you give email address and they will convert the file free, for you.
an alternative to this would be to download a program and do it yourself such as Prism Video Converter which i have used for getting videos onto my phone
if you want to know what format the videos are in just put them onto ur desktop, right click on them and read the format under properties 
PS . if you want to know what format the files need to be converted into just look at the default videos on the satio, it might even tell you on the file info on the phone but im not sure. but that should fix your problem
