sorry if its been asked before....
im getting my GD87 tomorrow or wednesday and im wondering if i can put some of my backgrounds on the phone without any cables/irda or whatever... cause i dont have any of these and theyre pretty expensive too...

download from the wap.... but it would propably more expensive than getting a infrared device for you PC

another question... when i try to edit my contact (add picture, text, number), and then save it adds another contact with the same info but the picture, text, etc, dont save... the settings are still the same
how can i save the changes?

Save it to your phone memory, not SIM. It will create a duplicate contact but with the settings that you changed or placed.

i did that and saved to mobile memory... now the settings are saved but when someone calls with pic ID, it still doesnt show

Because you have duplicate entries (same name & number). You will have to delete the one that's saved on your SIM card in order for the other one to work correctly. It's really a pain when you switch phones alot (like I do).

yea it does suck indeed, why would someone erase contacts from their sim just to put in the phone memory.
my last phone (t200) got smashed against the wall and i wouldnt be able to recover my #'s for sure.

I swap between the GD87 and T68i.... it's a headache sometimes when I have 3 numbers saved to a contact along with personalized ringtones, and picture ID... I just need to back up all my contacts and I'll be fine.

Hey, since you are in the states... you're not able to download games from In-Fusio, are you?
cause i sent them an email, and they said its possible only in Europe and Asia.
