My PS3 has decided to stop reading disks - doesnt show that a disk is inserted. It started yesterday when I turned it on, but I managed to get it working again after a reboot with a complete unplug - it has just hapened again and this time it was mid game (MW2 of course!)
I will try it again in the morning but dont think it I will have any luck with it, think I will therefore be replacing it with a slim one tomorrow as I cant be arsed with trying to fix it myself - sure its he usual issue that is reported on the internet so can be fixed relatively easily if you have the time and patience!
Its a 40GB PAL console and is boxed complete with power cable, and tv cable and 2 pads (six-axis). Its about 2 years old, but has been kept in the same loving place all its life so I would give it a 9.5/10 just due to age.
I have some games that I wouldnt mind getting rid of with it, these are (all fully boxed);
PES 2008 (Cant find instructions)
PES 2009
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue
Topspin 3
Fight Night Round 3
Grand Theft Auto IV
Could be a christmas bargain for someone...
BIN is now £80 for the lot plus delivery, but offers for all or part welcome...

It would be a warranty job if the machine was within warranty, and I think it is a relatively easy fix if you can be bothered to do so... There are even guides on youtube for it... Its a problem with the dvd laser thing... needs replacing basically...
got a new slim now so definately getting rid of this to whoever wants it... |

From a bit of research I have found out that the consoles in this condition go for about £70, the games I would say about £5 each so £40 for the lot...
Therefore as a bundle £100 so a bit more of a deal, thats my BIN but please feel free to make an offer if you like....
She is fully boxed up now awaiting a new home... |

If you just want those two on their own then I would have to do them at £7.50 each as they are the biggest games that still go for over £10 2nd hand... So £15 plus postage if you want...
The console and remaining games I would then let go for £80 if anyone wants... |
