Hi!
I have got a w300i, that i bought 3 years ago. Im going to get a new w995(Or Aino)soon, but i really want to fix this problem on my w300i.
The problem is that i cannot install and browse the games and applications folder.
Every time i try to install a application it says "Operation Failed".
So what should i do to solve this annoying problem? I have tried software update, but it didn't find any new updates.
All answers will be appreciated
P.S my phone suffers from the memory bug too

Haha, yeah
But i want a cell phone with Java-3d gaming capabilities. My question is: Can Aino play 3D java games, such as Galaxy on fire and Blades and Magic? |

About your problem... This was happening to the early K800s with older firmware. You can fix this problem by flashing the phone firmware. Try downloading SEUS (Sony Ericsson Update Service) from www.sonyericsson.com and give it a try. Once installed you just follow the on-screen instructions and you should be fine...
P.S. Before flashing (updating) the phone, make backup of everything in your phone because files are deleted when flashing firmware. You can use MPE (My Phone Explorer) to backup your data.

@Strizlow800
I already have the newest firmware availiable
I have checked for updates via Sony Ericsson Update Service on my computer and directly on my cell phone. No updates... |

Yes but you just install the same firmware anyway. You should get a re-install option on SEUS. You need to change the firmware in order to fix the java. It doesn't matter if you have the latest one or not. Give it a try.

Hi again,
No, it doesn't say reinstall firmware or something related with that. |

Then you can try flashing it with XS++. I think XS++ supports your phone model. It should be possible you to flash your firmware by downloading firmware files (MAIN, FS and custom files) and then flash your phone.
P.S. Check my signature for XS++ phone flashing tutorial... It should work.
