Hi, I've searched and searched but I can only find instructions to repair the screen. Can any one direct me to instructions to replace the buzzer? Thank you - Alye x

I have tried. It seems to be a commaon problem with this phone and the are lots of threads (not just at Esato) where people have this problem. The answer is to replace the buzzer / black speaker but nowhere are ther instructions how to remove and replace the buzzer. I can get into the phone just don't know how to sort out the buzzer. Am reluctant to pay some bloke on the mobile stal £20 quid to do a job that takes him less than an hour and I know I could do myself if I was told how.

I've looked at that before but all the disassembly guides get as far as the screen but never even touch the buzzer.

Hi, probably what would help you is the official Sony Ericsson Service Manual. There are PDF's of this on the internet I requested one on formymobile.co.uk but it looks like he's removed this option and now you have to buy it off him. You can try and get it for free by:
