It seems that SE are about to release new firmware for the Satio in aprox 2 weeks

If I debranded my vodafone UK handset using davinci, will it them be able to take updates straight from SE ?

OH MAN!

This is awesome news!!

I hope that this firmware, repairs lot's of the holes of the Satio...

And yes, u can get the firmware directly from SE if u debranded your phone with davinci... i did this with my C905... i debranded him from Claro (Brazil Operator) and then i upgraded the fw directly from SE, via FOTA.

Cheers!

I just tried the update service, latest version, and the satio is still listed but no new firmware yet.

I hope to find the media bug solved.
Download FPC Bench a good benchmark/system info for your phone.
Download Pocket Inclinometer for your phone's accelerometer.

now this is really stupid ....
1 pc ... removed update service and re-installed from SE's support pages
to v2.9.11.10 and no Satio.
PC no. 2 was originally installed for a w810i and the update service has only
ever had "updates" never a re-install and it DOES show the Satio !!!!
