Hi Peeps,
Does anyone know which Nokia has the best signal/reception?
Don't need a fancy phone, camera, mp3 etc etc. Just has to have solid reception.
Thanks.

Nokia N79 and E75 have fantastic reception and battery life from my experience. . E75 can be a bit of a pain to hold for longer useage though, the metal batt cover sticks out a bit on both sides, realy not friendly to the hands.

If you can find an old k800i or k810i them two phones had the best most solid reception i ever had in any phone. The k800i was flawless but alot of Sony Ericsson's newer phones are worse and pretty poor for reception imo. They tend to put the antenna at the bottom so when you hold it the signal drops. The c510 is terrible dont get that.

NOKIA also do that, its unbelievable, why on earth are they putting antennas at the bottom? Its so stupid, N81 has an antenna at the bottom and although 98% of the time its signal is great, sometimes it fluctuates like mad in bad areas where 3G is patchy when i hold it, so much so that i know exactly where the antenna is,at the bottom left coner under the star key . The K850i's antenna is at the top,and its signal is always on point. makes no sense to put the antenna at the bottom.

The Nokia 6303 has its antenna @ the top & its one of the best I ever had for getting reception. They seem to have improved it in the 6th edition of s40 interface. I think they are putting them in the bottom of the phones because of lack room at the top due to cameras & such things. At least the pointy big antenna days are gone

No but its very similar in terms of performance to the younger brother 6303. I have read people complaining of poor signal on the 6700 but i think its because people have 3G on and its probably poor coverage in my guess.
