Ever heard about Tel.me T919?
THAT is a real and worthy "opponent" for the P800. Just see his features and price.
But i'm in love with P800... I must have one... |

Anyone know which OS T919 is running? I can't find any info on it but I don't think it's Symbian. |

Here`s an email that I have recieved from Telit:

It has a proprietory OS, no third party SW can be installed.
> - does it have web browser? If it has I am really going to buy it.
No, only a WAP browser.
> - does it support JAVA?
Not yet.
> - is there a clip-on numeric keyboard like I saw on some pictures so you can

No, this keyboard does not exist, but you can use your fingers for dialling.

Should have been the M6 that may be a competitor to the P800.

But none of these phones are real alternatives to the P800. Who wants a big smartphone with no software? The software is what makes the bigger phone worth it for me. Without the software it's just like a T68 with a better display.
That new Motorola device running Symbian OS looks cool, tho. I even think it has a 256.000 color display. |
