Does the phone support file transfer through bluetooth , or not because of Android 1.6?

It appears BT file transfer is a feature added to Android 2.0 and hence not available on Android 1.6. |

It will probably be available trough hacking even on Android 1.6.
That's just my assumption.

Hmm I am not sure about the validity of some of this, there seems to be a view that Motorola have a deal with Google to the effect that, Motorola get Android 2 exclusively for their droid device for an unspecified period so how can hope to get this thing out in Q1 2010 (Not that they have ever hit a launch date yet!) and I am sure I read that only Android 2 handles BT File Transfer and Phone to Phone BT? Otherwise this thing looks very good not sure why did not build in a radio though perhaps the thought of no "over priced Duo Pro" sales was too much to bear, and they had to grab some cash back in the shape of the pony add on radio headset.

And the answer is - yes. It's officialy, because of the 2.0 upgrade.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

The X10 will have support for Bluetooth file transfer. Android 1.6 does not support this, so this particular feature will be developed and implemented by Sony Ericsson. |

I am afraid that this means the X10 WON'T be shipped with Eclair. Anyone shares my opinion? |
