I'd get the X2, let the WM7 phones come, watch it mature for a year or two then get a WM7 phone. There's plenty of modds, apps, customizations etc. . .for WM6-6.5 phones to keep you going. If WM7 is a whole new OS you may just want to hold off getting a WM7 phone for a while. Also the QWERTY keyboard, and touch nav pad would make it a no brainer for me.

For business use, so far, X2 is better. the hardware might not be hyper boosted, but it is just fine for me.
X10 has a better and more modern HMI, it looks modern, transition are great, but is more a non professional phone.
The future might be of Android and, yes, the hardware and form factor of X10 is really nice. Slightly big, but thin.

@cherry ... I presume that's a "personal" statement not a "technical" one then ??
As others have pointed out, each has it's merits. You choose from personal perference
having weighed up the options and features which suits you and your needs best - me ....
it's going to be .... Damn not sure

Personally im having the same problem choosing x10 over the x2. The x1 was on my mind but boo hoo the x1 is too old and slow. I need something faster than my p1 i really think its time for an upgrage.
Anyway im all about features and apps and mutitasking and media. Both phones are complete in fact the only the thing tht makes the x10 incomplete is a hardwar qwerty keyboard. I love to type fast and i believe the touch pad wont let me type fast. The gui on x10 is so catching and clean its more modernized by the way which one is full touch i dont like thumb touch im not a business person but more of a multimedia person. The only thing that is dazzling my eyes is the qwerty hardware key board. Help me choose im also going for a 650usd budget because i wont be able to buy the x10 or x2 until novemeber maybe saled will cool down by then. I love me p1i so much its like my pocket computer and i feel the x2 and x10 is a perfect upgrade. Android is new which i know it must have some disadvantages and winmo has problem with bugs slow and laggy os. So help me choose between x2 or x10 thank you.

i think the lack of GPS built in lets the range down. and considering i have a laptop with a 4 gig hard drive and not a lot of ram, why do mobile phones need 'windows mobile'?? surely something that size could run proper windows XP?? |

X2 is just garbage. It's still using the garbage cpu running at 528Mhz, still using garbage WM, 6.5 or not. AND it's still using the garbage resistive touch screen. It's actually just a X1, with a slightly bigger screen and better camera.
X10 on the other hand, is probably the best specced android phone ever.
Really, there's no comparison.

I think hardcore winmo user would still get an X2 or the likes, even if Android phones are made in heaven and none of your "intelligent" opinion can change that. |

Well the thing is Android does nothing what WM wouldn't,
but there are still things more developed on WM than Android...
And X2 has keyboard.

The X10 has a future while Android continues to develop (and it has some fairly futureproof hardware to take advantage of those developments). The X2 will drop dead as soon as WM7 is released next year, since it's based on old hardware and a barely warmed-over interim OS.
I seriously wonder if the X2 is just a cynical attempt to make back some of the R&D cash SE blew on the X1 - since it's virtually the same phone.
