Hi,

Just got my Orange branded (grr) Satio yesterday and I have a couple of questions regarding the 'Orange' standby theme:

1) It's possible to add shortcuts to the standby theme, but is it possible to remove them? If so, how?

2) One of the shortcuts is a useful 'Device Status' which shows the battery power left, signal strength and memory status. I'm trying to find this function in the other standby themes but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know if it's available?

Thanks in advance!

If you click and hold on the widgets on the standby screen, you have the option to modify their on-screen locations, edit settings, or delete any you don't need.

I haven't found a way to access the device status, other than through the Orange standby screen theme. The % battery remaining info used to be available by pressing the volume/zoom rocker on my C905 from the main home screen, but that no longer works with the Satio

Thanks for that, it works perfectly to delete the unwanted shortcuts.

I've been searching around and still can't find the device status in any other menus. Pity.

the orange theme is pretty good i think. it also has nice wifi and bluetooth shortcuts. the only downside is the lack of the active media player control that appears in the default se theme.

I also Have the orange branded SE Satio. It took me a couple of days to figure it out. (thats what I like, I hate a phone I know evrything about on this first day). Anyway, on the orange standby screen there is a little arrow at the bottom, this brings up a menu. You may notice 2 dots at the top of the menu, scrolling sideways brings up another page. Here you can add the device status, applications and shortcuts and webpages to the standby screen. I have fitted around thirty boxes in standby but some are duplicated, but it makes navigation much easier.
Even thou I prefer the colours of the SE standby screen.

I just branded my unbranded phone through Davinci Team to try out the new firmware R1CC001 that was first released with orange branding. I really like the Orange standby theme. I think I am going to keep this version. At least for a while.

So it seems that for once Orange have added some useful stuff to their branding, rather than the usual cxxp they put on their phones.

I do like the SE theme on my voda branded handset, not really tried the voda theme, but maywell check it out to see if it too has any useful items on it.
