SATIO Continuous Movie Playback BATTERY TEST

I played movies back to back on my satio which i bought 15 days back.

Movie Settings: Bitrate 1000 kbps
Audio output through the Headphones

My Satio played non stop for - 4 hour 40 minutes (280 minutes)

I guess if i had used the satio speaker for sound output then it wud hav used more of the battery. But i feel sound effects are better heard on headphones.

How well do you feel you have properly charged your battery? If you feel confident in your battery power containment we could all use your time as a benchmark. Since my battery is about to die tonight, I'll charge while I sleep and possibly do a movie test tomorrow, through headphones as well.

I'll be back with my findings tomorrow.

Great thread!

I tested it today left a movie on repeat with headphones on but I got bored of checking up on the phone and wanted to use my time to be productive. The low battery would pause the movie for me but I'm confidant enough to say I got at least 4 hours out of the battery and my rough estimate would be 4 hours and 30 minutes (ten minutes less than you).

Mind you, I don't believe my battery has been properly charged to it's fullest capacity. I will test it out after another week of battery training.

It's very hard to notice when it pauses with the headphones and all, maybe one day I will test with the headphones off.

In conclusion? Battery is not bad. I will confirm with somebody I know that will positively had a properly charged battery.

@luhccas: well thats coz the source file was around 900 kbps...so increasing the kbps too much doesnot make sense...and since i download movies in .avi format...they are mostly around 1000 kbps...but ya i have tried short video clips in the range of 4000 kbps and they work great...

@monaco: i also close all the applications running in background...i think 4.5 hours video playback is pretty good enough...
i wish the inbuilt video player had brightness, contrast and saturation settings just like the one in LCG Smartmovie player...
