Need help, getting annoyed here pretty much... I left my phone unlocked, and somehow, the keyboard has changed to chinese. I want to go back to andorid default one, but I searched and searched, and nothing... I remember there was an option in odler firmware to choose the default keyboard, but now it's gone

It looks like that:

Any advice?

Hi admad, did you try a long press in the messaging application (in the textbox)?....

It should bring a menu with an option called "Input Method", select it, and you will see all the keyboards intalled, proceed then to select the Android Default...

Hope it helps...

As mentioned before, I did a root and JIT installation via guide provided by Xperia x10 Blog.
Not my phone seems to reboot itself often. how do I stop it? I don't care about JIT, but i would like to keep my phone rooted.

BIG D, as far as i know connecting your phone to SEUS(i guess pc-companion too) will give you a message if you want to update, if not chose to repair, it will whipe everything and download the firmware again and installing it (the SD will remain untouched as usual) and you will have to re-root.

Hi guys.

On Saturday my X10 should be delivered, so i wanted to ask a few questions, since i am new to android and this particular phone:

1. Is the screen really scratch resistant, does it need an extra protector?
2. Whish is the last official version of Android for this phone?
3. Could i somehow remove the SE addons of the phone (I want to make it have the stock android looks)?
4. Does it record HD video (720p)?
5. Do you find the incall volume quiet?
6. Is there a way to enable somehow the "Pinch zoom" option of the browser?

Thank you in advance.

I would have picked another phone mate...

1. Its not scratch resistant (at least it does not seem to me), get a protector
2. Its a lousy 2.1
3. You have to root it and get rid of all the crApps
4. not sure
5. Yea the volume seems fine in 2.1
6. I read somewhere that SE whants to bring multitouch to it... but to be honest I doubt it.
