after some advice from everyone please.
Im going to be applying for a working holiday visa to go to New Zealand (possibly australia or canada instead) and need to raise about £3-4000.
I have thought of car boot sales, sponsored runs/bungie jumps etc, and possibly contacting some local businesses to see if they will be able to provide any form of sponsorship in return for advertising them whilst performing my fund raising activities.
Im out of ideas then, anyone have any other ideas which they think would encourage people to sponsor someone/ raise funds?
cheers

If you want me to be honest, when I opened this thread I thought it was going to be for charity. I don't think businesses would be bothered, I certainly wouldn't if it was my business (I don't mean to sound harsh) but i'm sure there are other ways.
Washing cars, dog walking, babysitting (get free drinks and food with this)
Good luck pal
