3G signal problem. |

i have a problem with my k630i.everytime i chose the '3G and GSM network' setting on mobile networks and i use the internet on my phone the signal dies after some minutes and i have to change it back on 'only GSM' and my signal bar increses on full..can anyone think of why this may happen ?..the internet it`s very slow when i use only GSM.. |

It is normal. You will get low signal with 3g because high frequencies travel shorter distance and hence lower the signal. |

maybe you're location has a weak 3g signal..

....and also the more people using the same 3g network at the same location the data transfer efficiency will become less

check you're location bro, or try to move to other area to check you're 3g signal

it depends on the network operators even u have 3G signal in your vicinity,they can lower the amount of speed that they providing to the subscribers unless you pay more, it also depends on how much you pay

if you are using the vodafone version of the k630i then its because vodafone has rubbish 3g, orange so far to me has the best 3g internet connection, o2 aswell but orange is better because it is way cheaper because o2 charge a fortune for internet connecting.

thank u phonecrzy..im using 3g from vodafone..it`s strange cuz before it worked very good when i used it from here..and i happens everywhere not just here..and now in the past few months i allways get disconnected..im staying just on GSM now but it`s very slow..and i have other friend with a n81 i think who comed by my place few times and always works on him..i`ll try to try and find a new soft to install or something..this started happening after i changed my audio driver everytime..dont think that has anything to do with this.. |

i changed my audio driver to the one that i used first time i changed the soft to k630i and now it works much better..i lost the signal on my phone while using the internet only 2 times from yesterday after posting the other reply..this is good now..but it`s strange cuz instead of the 3G icon i always have an H..thats for hsdpa..think it`s better now..only one or 2 times in one days it`s very good..before i lost the signal every few minutes at most.. |

try w910 its pretty cheap now and have all the features needed to be but if you have the budget go for aino or w995
