I guess its possible but how do I get rid of these random apps that come with the phone like say if I wanted to delete google maps to update or replace it with something else how would you do it ?

In the options it seems to only list the ones I have specificly installed I dont really like installing things over other things especially with the internal phone memory being a bit limited.

How would you get a program to automatically run on start up of the phone ?

How do you copy all contacts from sim to phone memory ?

Never owned a symbian phone so its a bit of steep learning curve are these easy to brick can I really do any harm to these phones can everything be undone I guess is what I am asking.

Thanks alot for any help.

You want to go to the App Manager to uninstall apps. You'll find it in settings.

If you simply want to update the app, just download the new version and it should automatically replace the existing version. I did so yesterday with Google maps.

It doesnt list the ones that are preinstalled such as adobe pdf. Say if you purchased a new version of quick office how would you remove it or just clear some of them to make room for more must be a way.

i'd like to remove the google search feature as i will never aggree with their terms of service, especially: \"3. Consent to the collection, use, sharing and onward transfer of your data, including but not limited to voice and location data\" etc...
Any idea if there is an \"official way\" to do so, or do i have to remove files from the phones' internal memory myself?

anyway... besides this obvious flaw it's a great phone. probably one of the most sexy incarnations of S60 although it will be one of the last.
