Hi I just bought T68i and I have problem. I can,t operate phone without touching with "magic word". The manual say's that you have to use HF or Car- system only to initiate or reject calls. Is there any hidden catch ?. Please help me if You can.
Sorry for my English but there was beautiful weather during my english lesson's
Thanks forward |

you can use the magic word feature only if you have HF or Car HF Kit installed on it. |

I don't have HF and/or car-handsfree
In that case the manual sould say that you can use "magic word" only with HF or car system. I'm new Ericsson user and it's my first BIG disapointment
Thanks for reply's |

Magic Word works fine with a wired HF or in car but it cannot be activated without any HF attached. I dont really understand why you would want to have it activated otherwise!???

To activate voice commands i must press a key what stops me to press another and call up the function what i want ?. Voice commands make sens only when i don't must touch the phone isn't it ?

I think the reason it needs to be wired is magic word leaves the mic open which drains the batt.

Też na początku nie miało to dla mnie sensu, ale skoro t68 nie ma wbudowanego zestawu głośnomówiącego to i tak musisz go trzymac w łapie jak rozmawiasz nie? Więc naciśnięcie przycisku nie powinno stanowić problemu Co innego kiedy tel masz w kieszeni i słuchawką w uchu albo w zestawie samochodowym. Wtedy to ma znaczenie. |

the magic word is for handsfree, you can except a call, or make a call
i don't see the point for other use for it.. when you have the phone in your hand you don't need to give a voice command.. (you have it in your hands...)
it works fine by me.. so.. |
