1. Dr.Dre -Dre2001
2. Jay-Z -The Black Album
3. Fabolous -Real Talk
4. Fat Joe -Me,Myself & I
5. Lil Wayne -The Carter II (YES 2)
only reason Lil Wayne made it in instead of Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP is cause The Carter-II was just so full of crazy punchlines, IMO this was his best album, he proved everyone wrong reinvented himself and showed he was not just another "bubble gum rapper" ,his more recent album The Carter-III with the famous "Lollipop" track is just too commercial.

I can't comment on the best of all time, but the top 5 CD's in my collection that get thrashed the most are:
5) Michael Jackson - Off the wall
4) Bush - Sixteen stone
3) Foo Fighters - Echoes, Silence, Patience and Grace.
2) ABBA - Gold

1) Audioslave - Audioslave
Somewhere in there also is 'Jagged little Pill' by Alanis Morisette.
I listen to a lot of compilations too, mostly dance, techno etc.

In no particular order;

- Kerplunk! - Green Day
- Original Pirate Material - The Streets
- Mutter - Rammstein

Actually I can't do it, there's too many, Meat Loaf, Barbra, Celine, Diana Ross, Gabrielle would all be in there too...

My 'Top 5' here are (currently) in order; and have thus made the biggest impact on me through the years, for various reasons:

1. Sepultura - Roots
2. Rammstein - Mutter
3. Slipknot - Slipknot

5. U2 - The Joshua Tree

Only Top 5..? Err... I can't stop...

6. Becoming The Archetype - Terminate Damnation
7. The Cure - Disintegration
8. Metallica - Metallica (the Black Album)
9. Static-X -Machine
10. System Of A Down - Toxicity
11. Pink Floyd -The Wall
12. KoRn -KoRn
13. Soulfly - Soulfly
14. U2 - Achtung Baby
15. Cypress Hill - Black Sunday
16. Seal -Seal
17. Kittie - Oracle
18. Soundgarden - Superunknown
19. INXS -Kick
20. REM - Automatic For The People

The list goes on. Sigh...

@ masseur:

Seeing ELO in that list brought back a flood of memories of my youth; particularly the Electric Light Orchestra's 1979 album, Discovery, which was pretty much iconic in our household's LP collection.
