Satio bluetooth issues - help!

Staria Joined: Oct 28, 2009 Posts: 2 PM	Posted: 2009-10-28 21:16 Hi, I'm new to the forum so firstly - HELLO! I've had my Satio a week. Up to now it's been brilliant and I've had no issues. I just wondered if anyone else has had problems with the bluetooth? I can send items to it via bluetooth but it won't pair easily. I've tried to pair it via bluetooth with the SE PC suite that came with the phone but this just continually fails (the PC suite is installed on a Samsung netbook). I've also tried to pair it with my partners Blackberry but again this fails - it appears to pair and then doesn't actually create a connection (the Satio also does not appear after 'pairing' on the Blackberry's list of bluetooth devices). I contacted SE who told me to re-install the software (I did check I had the latest edition first). They state that if re-installing the software doesn't work then I probably have a faulty phone and need to contact my supplier. I re-installed the software which of course didn't solve the problem. Just when I was thinking I was going to have to send the phone back my partner tried to pair it with his HP laptop - low and behold it 'paired' no problem and is working as expected!! Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem? I know Blackberry's can be a little iffy with bluetooth but could this be the same for my netbook?? I have installed the PC suite twice - both times from the phone's memory card - this hasn't solved the problem. I have also tried to pair from both directions, i.e. phone to PC / PC to phone but this also doesn't work. At the moment I'm not going to send it back as faulty but I have yet to try to pair with my car telephone....
