Just finished my MCA-25 review. Overall I am pleased with the camera.
The picture quality was more than decent for the size of the camera. Most outdoor shots are very well exposed, in focus and clear, but the colors were distorted and not saturated (compared to $250 Canon A40). The quality of the indoor pictures depends on the lightning conditions. If not enough light is present, the shot becomes very noisy and grainy.
A huge improvement was noticed in the speed of saving the images. It took around 40 seconds for the MCA-20 to save a 640x480 pixels image, while the MCA-25 took only 8 seconds!

I have this cam as well and to be honest its really not that great in my opinion. The indoor shots are quite bad, the outdoor are alright and the fact that it could only hold 11 large pictures is another downer! For the money that its worth it think its just better to get a regular digital camera.

I found the MCA-25 better than the MCA-20 on my T68i, but the MCA-25 produced better pictures on my sons T300, in fact not that far off what I get on the P800.

I was able to save 15 pics at 640x480. Then you can transfer some pics to your phone memory. You have to think about the size also.
You are right about the regular digital camera, but how big is it?
In the mca case, the capacity and quality are tradeoffs for the small size. If you want regular size camera, you can but very good one for around 200$. Here we talk about very small device, which will have limited capabilities

Mine is coming free in the mail it was included in the rebate here in the states, so the price is right and with the size you can always have it with you and you never have to say 'hold that pose while i get my camera' i used the can on my clie in the same manner

AT&T is offering a $50 rebate on the Communicam now. It has to be bought from an authorized dealer or whatever, but it's still a good deal, I think.
