Sony Aino - MP3 Non-Functional with Alarms |

This is an interesting find in my opinion and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this with their Aino or any other Sony Ericsson phones.
For whatever reason the Aino will let you choose an MP3 file for the alarm signal but will not play it. Instead it uses the default MP4 ringtone, "Day birth."
Has anyone else noticed this? |

Some C905 had that problem. What if you transfer the MP3 to your phone?

I transferred it but not with Media Go. Should I try that? |

The mp3 isn't one bought from the apple store is it? They have a funny encryption on them that only play in itunes or ipods/iphones.
I don't have any mp3 alarm issue with of my previous Aino/C905/T650/W760/K800.
I have a dig bick You read that wrong |

i have the same problem with my aino. it lets me choose a song for the alarm signal but will not play it and instead it uses the sound 'day birth'. but with some songs of the same file it functions.

hey.... i have the solution for this problem:
my aino has this problem not with all songs....only with some arbitrarily sounds. and these ones have a & in their names.
maybe it's only the solution for my problem, but maybe also for you. |
