Ok so I have been lookiing about for a Bluetooth handsfree for my Satio and been looking at some reviews. Been looking at the Sony Ericsson HBH-PV740 but in black Link text...
The VH310 Link text...
and the HBH-PV715 in black Link text...
The first one the HBH-PV740 looks very good as you have the display but I have read some reviews which say the sound quality is standard and should be better for the price as it is the most expensive.
Has anyone got any experiences with the above headsets which could advise please? or even alternative suggestions.

may i ask why this kind of headset and not a stereo one like HBH-200/205 or 220 ?
not only that you hear better from 2 headphones you can also play (stereo) music with it.
something like this

Because I don't want any wires around my neck when taking calls or driving. That sort is fine if you use your phone as a walk-man but I have my 32GB Touch for that with top of the range Sony in ear head phones.

I understand but your new phone is also a very good walkman so it would be pity not to use all it can.when you clip this bluetooth on your shirt and wire round your neck you forget it in a min. and the sound of calles is very good too. |

Yeah but you get that sort of wired in ear headphones with mic for taking calls with the Satio minus the Bluetooth and with the 3.5mm jack you can use any in ear headphones just like that one.
It's a proper Bluetooth ear piece I'm looking for with good clarity and noise cancellation with very good talk time that I'm looking for without the wires.
I see Jabra and Jawbone do some good ones too.

I can just picture someone driving down a motorway or walking down the road wearing that

I ended up going for the new Jawbone, pairs with a few devices, has Noise Assassin and works really well and also the fact of how good it looks
Also paired it with my pc for handling Voip calls.
No wires in the way or anything like that either

Sony's very own HBH-GV435 ... been using it for a couple of years now.
I reject your reality and substitute my own. |
