Hi. Folks: I m going to try the best to explain this, because for me it is too difficult, even if my "mother" language isn't english.
Now I want to know something else. Everyone that has a K850i cellphone know that is a 5 megapixels camera. Now this is my question. For instance if I take a picture in 5 megapixels and then I compress to 1 megapixels, the quality of the pictures is going to be even better in comparison of the 5 mp (NOTE: the original picture was taken in 5 mp and then converted to lower size or quality, of 1, 2, 3.2, 4.1 pixels). For my understanding, 5 megapixels is aprox 5 million of pixels or "dots", and 1 megapixel is 1 million of pixels or "dots", so if I compress from 5 to 1 the image will improve or not? Moreover, 5-mp is in the original picture, so, decreasing the amount of pixels will the image improve...
Now if I do back way, taking a picture in 1-mp and then convert it to 5-mp the quality will be awful, right? because the "dots" are increased and quality will change dramatically from lower to even lower...jaja. or not?
Sorry for my awful english. I think even in my mother language I couldn't explain this..jajaj . I hope you understand it. I will be around trying to improve this topic...thank you.....
Again: Im taking about quality NOT size......
SEs lovers...please if you don't understand it, try to read more than once and probably you will get it..thank you.....

Turning a 5MP picture into 1 MP will make the picture quality worse as there will be less detail.
Going the other way- dont. It looks really bad.
