Turning off 3G/UMTS - Restrictions? |

I always had 3G turned off on my W960i, as I didn't have any internet package. This helps with battery life.
Now I do have an internet package for the Satio, so what restrictions would happen if I turned off UMTS? |

On my P1i I turn 3G on only when I go online, the only reason I do it is battery life. |

I turn 3G on only to download large files, otherwise my GPRS/EDGE connection is fast enough for browsing large pages.

I dunno about your country, but in mine they are starting to put up UMTS/HSDPA only cell towers. With 3g turned off, you don't get as good coverage
