Hi, the front facing (video) camera on my P1 has stopped working. I have tried updating firmware but problem still persists. If I access the camera via a video call, the video call menu, or via the camera test in the service function menu my P1 freezes with two blank boxes (where the front & rear camera images should be). I then have to switch phone off and on again as nothing else works. Rear camera works fine by itself, just the front facing camera seems to have issues.
Any ideas as to what problem may be? I have tried to source a new camera (KNC 20141) however can only find one retailer who wants to charge me Eur100 postage on a Eur 8 part!!!
Any help on what problem may be, or where to get a replacement unit much appreciated. Thanks |
